The Gleneagles Hotel is a Five Red Star golf resort set in 850 acres of stunning scenery in Perthshire, Scotland.  It celebrated its 80th anniversary in June 2004.

The Gleneagles Hotel is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World; one of the Great Golf Resorts of the World; and a founder member of Connoisseurs Scotland, the world class grouping of properties which provide an authentic flavour of Scotland to discerning travellers.  The Gleneagles Hotel was proud to host the G8 summit of world leaders in July 2005.

The Gleneagles Hotel was designed in the style of a French chateau and Capability Brown, the celebrated 18th century landscape gardener, inspired the landscaping.

Luxurious and impeccable though it is, you will find that the Gleneagles Hotel has a refreshingly relaxed manner, unstarchy and unstiff that is mirrored by the friendly courtesy of all the staff. From your first wholehearted Scottish welcome you will be looked after warmly by the staff and the services offered.

The Strathearn

This is Gleneagles' two rosette award winning restaurant with magnificent views across the estate. The service is stylish and the food is from a classical era.

Andrew Fairlie @ Gleneagles

Scottish Chef of the year, Andrew Fairlie, creates signature dishes in his intimate, two Michelin-starred restaurant, where every detail has been carefully planned to create a truly special experience - from the innovative original art on the walls through to the specially selected French cheeses and Scottish-grown herbs.

As Andrew received much of his chef's training in the South West of France with Michel Guérard, the cuisine is unashamedly French but with a Scottish twist.

Deseo, a lively and fun “Mediterranean Food Market”, has recently been unveiled at Gleneagles, offering informal yet delicious dining. Situated adjacent to the spa, pool and leisure area, Deseo is perfect for all the family with a strong emphasis on varied and healthy eating all.
