Set in a delightful garden with car parking for 100 cars. There is also a small pitch and putt at the back of the hotel for the avid golfers; perhaps as a prelude to a full round on the adjacent Inverness Golf Club, offering concessions to residents.

Guests staying in the hotel are able to choose to dine in the Kingsmills Restaurant which offers menus created by our head chef using locally sourced fresh ingredients. The Conservatory and Lounge areas in the hotel offer a more informal menu.

The Scottish Highlands, in addition to providing a dramatic and scenic area to readily explore by even the most intrepid visitor offers a variety of activities and interests to satisfy all age groups.  Guests at the hotel enjoy the advantage of the consierge services to help organise their time in the area.

Stunning scenic and historical drives – the 5th Century site of Urquhart Castle is romantically set and presented on the banks of Loch Ness – also reached by cruising on Loch Ness, with perhaps, a “Nessie” sighting on the way.

Golf - There are three courses in Inverness. The most famous, Inverness Golf Club is overlooked by the Kingsmills Hotel. This course is of championship standard and was established in 1883.

Loch Ness Golf Course is the newest in the area. This is 6700 yards long and also has a driving range facility.

Royal Dornoch Golf Course
Royal Dornoch, 45 miles north east of Inverness is a well played Championship links course. Formed in 1877 it has been a Royal club for over 100 years. Handicap certificate is essential for this course.

The Nairn Golf Course
The Nairn golf course, another links course, 12 miles east of Inverness.
