Best Dining Pub in Buckinghamshire
(Good Pub Guide 2006/07)

The Palmer Arms Restaurant & Bar is situated in the centre of Dorney village, on the B3026 between Taplow and Eton. We are just 5 minutes off M4 Junction 7. The Palmer Arms is a totally smoke free environment.

Visit us in winter, dine by a roaring fire and enjoy the work of local artists that grace the walls. Come spring, summer or autumn you can dine outdoors on our Palm Terrace amongst the many palm trees in our beautiful garden. Listening to the geese on the Jubilee River just across the field behind us or hearing the owls hooting in the trees at Dorney Court as dusk falls is simply magical!

Whatever the season, whatever the occasion, we promise you a warm welcome and outstanding English cuisine ... with a twist!

Dining at The Palmer Arms

Our style of food is simple, uncomplicated English food (with occasional forays into Wales and Scotland !) with the "twist" generally indicating regional Mediterranean influences:

By simple we mean that the food is hearty and flavoursome,
By uncomplicated we mean using only a few good quality, delicious ingredients.
By English we mean creating traditional dishes that have been influenced by our climate, our history and our wonderful regional produce
By Mediterranean influences we mean Italian, Spanish, French (rural, not cordon bleu) and North African.
The menus feature a mix of traditional English dishes ... with a twist! along with regional cuisine and chef's specials.

Our Sunday Lunch has become a firm local favourite, with reservations strongly advised. We serve traditional Beef, Pork and Lamb dishes together with Fish and Vegetarian choices with an interesting selection of starters to get you going and wonderful desserts to follow!
